Answered: How to hard reset Nokia 5

Please follow the instructions below to hard reset your Nokia 5 smart phone.

1. Turn off your Nokia 5 smart phone.
2. Connect the Nokia 5 smart phone to a charger
3. Press and hole the Volume up button and the Power button until you see the recovery mode (don't release both buttons until the recovery mode pops up).
4. Now' use the volume buttons(Up/Down) to navigate the recovery mode.
5. Using the volume up/down button' scroll to "Wipe data/factory reset" and press the power button to confirm action.
6. Choose "Yes" on the next screen and press the power button to confirm action.
7. It should take about 5-8 seconds to finish the process.
8. When process done' you will see "Data wipe complete" written in white text.
9. Now' Choose "Reboot system now" to restart your Nokia 5 smart phone.
10. Follow the on screen instructions to set up your Nokia 5 smart phone as you like.
